Cordelia Oseh

Founder Of Multicultural Ireland

Cordelia from Multicultural Ireland

Originally from Nigeria Cordelia Oseh has lived in Ireland since 1999. She is married to Tony and they have four children. Cordelia is a professional decorator and runs a specialized decorating / events business providing these services to wedding, christening, birthday party venues etc.

Over the years in the course of local community activities, Cordelia became very interested in helping the different communities living in Ireland and especially in Cork achieve better integration into Irish social fabric.

In 2012 she came up with the idea of a multicultural event programme having seen through her work the various communities organise events that were not inclusive to other communities. Hence the idea of the multicultural event was born to include all nationalities living here in Cork / Ireland.

Cordelia believes – “Embracing each other cultural heritage and celebrating what we have in common whilst understand the differences. We all have something to bring to the table”.

In 2017 she received an award from Ireland National Diversity for community participation and contribution to society.
